Syrian Students in Hungary, Romania, Cuba, Lebanon, Egypt Stand by Homeland to Confront Terror War

Syrian students in Hungary, Romania, Cuba, Lebanon and Egypt have reiterated their support for the Syrian army in confronting the terror war waged on the homeland.

They asserted in statements released by branches of the Syrian Students National Union (SSNU) in the said countries on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of Syrian Arab Student Day that they are proud of Syrian army's victories and its brave leadership in fighting terrorist organizations that target Syria' civilization.

"This year, the anniversary of holding the first Conference of Syrian students coincides with consecutive victories achieved by Syrian army in confronting the fiercest terror war on the country and it also synchronizes with incessant aggression led by the United States, Zionist entity and their Arab, regional and western allies against the Syrian people," the students added.

They affirmed their determination to continue their study in order to return to homeland to contribute to building it and to confront terrorism and homeland's enemies, according to Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

The agency added that the Syrian students in Romania plus many Arab and foreign students there gathered yesterday to express their solidarity with Syria.

Syrian and Romanian national anthems were played and the students stood for a minute of silence in honor of martyrs before the distribution of brochures showing losses in the fields of education, health and industry in Syria as a result of terror attacks, which are supported by the US and the west.

Add to that, a documentary depicting Syria's civilization and deep-rooted history was screened during the activity held on Romania.
