Syrian communities in Ukraine, Czech Republic reiterate support for homeland

Syrian communities in Ukraine and Czech Republic have reiterated their support for homeland in its war against terrorism.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the Syrian community in Ukraine held Sunday a celebration on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of Syria’s  Independence Day during which chairman of the community Dr. Imad Zaza talked about Syrian people’s struggle against French occupation till achievement of independence in 1946.

Dr. Zaza also referred to heroism of Syrian Arab army in fighting foreign-backed terrorist organizations in Syria.

On their part, Syria’s Honorary Consul in Odessa city Eng. Ali Issa, Head of the Syrian diplomatic mission in Ukraine Dr. Hasan Khaddour and Head of the Syrian-Ukrainian Friendship Association Gen. Anatoli Domaniski  asserted that Syrian army will achieve victory over terrorism.

They said thank you to Syria’s real friends that stand by Syrian people and army in fighting terrorism.

On the same day [Sunday], Syrian community and students in Czech Republic plus many Czech citizens gathered in the heart of Prague city to condemn the U.S. aggression on a military airfield in Syria and the terror blast, which targeted bus convoy carrying evacuees from Foua and Kafraya towns this month.

They asserted that the U.S. aggression aimed to raise terrorists’ morale and to hinder efforts being exerted to reach a political solution to crisis in Syria.

Since 2011, a foreign-backed terror war has been waged against Syria targeting its people, army, civilization and infrastructures in accordance with US-Zionist plot that aims to fragment the region and to have hegemony over its wealth.
