Weightlifter Maan Asaad wins the Sports Creativity Award

Syrian weightlifter Maan Asaad won the Sports Creativity Award today within the 11th  tournament  of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Creativity, along with 28 sports champions.

 Asaad won the award in the category of athlete who accomplished a high level of achievement under difficult circumstances and great challenges, as he won the bronze of the last Tokyo Olympics 2020 in the weightlifting competitions over 109 kg.

The weightlifter Asaad won three gold medals in the Arab Weightlifting Championship, which was held recently in Iraq, with the wide participation of players from all Arab teams.

The Olympic weightlifter, Asaad, awarded our national team the three gold medals in competitions over 109 kg.

Shadi Al-Shaf is on the list of international football referees for the current year

The International Football Association (FIFA) has approved referee Shadi Taysir Al-Shahf on the list of international referees for the current year, after he was nominated by the Football Association.

Al-Shahf indicated that his accreditation for the second year in a row gives him an incentive and increases his responsibility to continue working to raise his level for the better and represent Syria in an honorable way in international forums.

Al-Shahf pointed out that his presence on the list of international referees complements his selection a few months ago within the new AFC project to develop referees, as well as his success during the last period at the Asian Arbitration Academy, which he is about to graduate from.

It is noteworthy that Al-Shahf is a graduate of English literature at the University of Damascus and began arbitration about 13 years ago.

14 new medals for Syria, including 3 gold for Maan Asaad in the Arab Weightlifting Championship

Baghdad (ST): Syrian weightlifter Maan Asaad won three gold medals today in the Arab Weightlifting Championship currently being held in Iraq, with the wide participation of players from all Arab teams.

Four new medals for Syria in the Libyan International Physical Strength Championships

Tripoli (ST): The player of the Syrian national team for physical strength, Ahmed Abdullah, won four different medals (silver and three bronze) in the Libyan International Championships, with the wide participation of Asian and African teams.

Abdullah won the silver for the chest, the bronze for the squat, the the vault and bronze of the overall total with a weight of 105 kg.

The President of the Game Federation, Ziyad Muhammad, explained in a statement that the tournament is witnessing strong competitions due to the participation of African champions and world champions in it, pointing out that our players drew attention with their high performance and discipline in the tournament, noting at the same time that the number of medals is expected to increase, especially in weight competitions above 120 kg.

Equestrian Hamsho crowned in Grand Prix title of the Al Ain International Jumping Championship

Ahabi (ST): Equestrian Amre Hawon the Grand Prix of the Al Ain International Jumping Championship held in the United Arab Emirates, which is classified in the three-star category internationally. This tournament comes within the Arab League matches in showjumping, and its grand prize qualifies for the World Cup.
