Syrian horsemanship shines again in international championships of show jumping

Syrian horsemanship has returned to its former glory in the international championships of show jumping, after a break from outside participation since last year due to the spread of Corona pandemic, which affected sports around the world.

In the Sharjah International Show Jumping Championship held recently, the Syrian jockeys  achieved good results.  Captain Yasser Al-Sharif got the fourth place and the Amr Hamsho won the fifth place, as part of the 130-cm category match, whose competitions were held with the participation of 58 knights.

 

In the 135-cm category match that was held with the participation of 74 knights.   Amr Hamsho won third place. He also won the same place in the Grand Prix in which the hurdles rose to 145 cm. The match took place with the participation of 54  riders.

Shadi Gharib won the first place in the category of foals with a height of 130 cm, while t Muhammad Osama Al-Zubibi ranked third.

Our horsemen were also able to score advanced results in the Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy International Cup for Show Jumping.  Shadi Gharib achieved first place in the first match in  the hurdles (130 cm).  In the children category for a height of 115 cm, the  Laith Shady Gharib won first place in this category and Aya Hamsho won first place in the 120-cm category.
