Syrian army tightens grip on terrorist groups in Aleppo

ALEPPO, (ST)_The Syrian army has expanded its operations in the western and southwestern sides of Aleppo province and has liberated many towns after heavy clashes with terrorists affiliated to al-Nusra Front and allied groups.

Today, the army units recaptured the towns of Kafer Dael and Tal Shwehneh in the western countryside of Aleppo. They also advanced towards the axis of Tamora and Tal Shwehneh and tightened grip on terrorists there.

The new advance coincided with repelling al-Nusra Front terrorists' attack on the axis of Kafer Halab which was liberated by Syrian army last week.

According to RT Arabic, terrorists affiliated to Hayat Tahrir al-Sham [HTS] with the support of the Turkish artillery fire launched today an attack on the axis of Kafer Halab.

In the northern countryside of Aleppo, the army units targeted terrorist groups in several strategic hills, according to the Syrian Alikhbaria TV channel.
