Syria, Russia affirm US occupation forces responsible for deterioration of condition in camps of displaced people

Syria and Russia have affirmed that the presence of the US occupation forces in Syria are responsible for the deteriorating conditions in the camps that contain displaced Syrians, especially in Al-Houl camp, at a time when ISIS terrorists continue their practicess with the support of US forces in the Syrian territories.

Christian denominations in Syria pray for their country on Easter

DAMASCUS, (ST)_Christian denominations that follow the Western calendar in Syria celebrated on Sunday Easter, the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Messenger of love and peace. 
Prayers and masses were held in the churches and places of worship in Damascus, Aleppo, Hasakah and other provinces. 

Foreign Ministry: The United States is the biggest violator of human rights in the world

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has stressed that the US State Department's annual report on human rights in the world includes lies about alleged human rights violations in all countries of the world, pointing out that the report's claims about Syria were obtained from reports prepared by terrorist organizations and their supporters in the region and the world.

In a statement on Saturday, the ministry said that the ill-famed report uncovers its own shortcomings and exposes the real goals behind such reports which reflect racism and constitute a flagrant interference in the internal affairs of the countries that don't follow the dictates of the American administration and the parties that prepared this report.

The ministry added that the report went far in its lies and misinformation against Syria and other countries that don't accept the policies of the United States such as Russia, China, Cuba, Venezuela, Iran and Belarus, stressing that these lies have been uncovered by the peoples of these countries and by a major part of the world public opinion.

Prime Minister: Supporting the agricultural sector is a strategic goal of the government

Prime Minister Hussein Arnous has stressed that supporting the agricultural sector by all means is a strategic goal of the Syrian government.

He made the remarks during a ceremony held in Homs for launching the work in the Homs-Hama irrigation canalor which has been rehabilitated after a stop for ten years due to terrorist attacks.

The premier pointed out that the canal will secure water to more than 20,000 hectares of agricultural land in Homs and Hama with the aim of supporting and increasing the agricultural production in these two provinces.

He affirmed that the government is concentrating on two main issues - supporting production in all fields and meeting production requirements, pointing out that the agricultural production is very important for many industries.

Scores of Turkish-backed terrorists injured in renewed infighting in occupied Ras Al-Ayn city in Syria’s Hasakah

Renewed clashes between mercenaries of the Turkish regime in the Turkish-occupied city of Ras Al-Ayn in Hasakah northwestern countryside resulted in the injury of a number of mercenaries.

The clashes came amid a state of chaos that prevails in the areas occupied by the Turkish regime and its affiliated terrorists.

Local sources told SANA reporter on Saturday that fighting between the terrorists of the “Sultan Murad” armed group with the use of light and medium weapons caused a state of panic among the locals who were compelled to leave their work and hide in their houses for a long period of time. This is almost a daily situation caused by intensive infighting among the mercenaries.

The areas under the control of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries have been witnessing a state of chaos ad insecurity due to the conflict between the Turkish-backed terrorists over areas of influence and stolen items.

Patriarch Younan renews his call for lifting the unfair sanctions imposed on the Syrian people

Patriarch Ignatius Youssef III Younan of Antioch and All the East for the Syriac Catholic Church has called for lifting the unfair economic sanctions imposed by the west on the Syrian people.

In a letter marking Easter (the Feast of Holy Resurrection), Younan said that international decision makers and all good willing people should work to lift the merciless sanctions which have been imposed on the Syrian people and are exacerbating their suffering day after day, describing the last ten years of the terrorist war on Syria as a terrible catastrophe.

“We pray that the efforts being exerted to end the conflict in Syria and rebuild the country will be fruitful thanks to the solidarity and unity of the Syrian people and to their determination to work together as to restore stability and prosperity to their homeland,” Patriarch Younan added.

Russian DM: Al-Nusra terrorists carry out 30 attacks in Idleb de-escalation zone

Moscow (ST): The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the terrorist organizations deployed in  the de-escalation zone in Idleb and a number of areas in its countryside carried out 30 attacks during the past twenty-four hours on areas and locations in the countryside of Idleb, Hama and Lattakia.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement published on its official website that 15 attacks by Al-Nusra Front terrorists were monitored in Idleb governorate, 8 attacks in Lattakia and 7 attacks in Hama governorate.
