Al-Rahmoun reviews with the Iraqi Minister of Immigration the situation of refugees in both countries

Damascus (ST): The Minister of Interior, Major General Muhammad Al-Rahmoun, discussed with the Iraqi Minister of Immigration  Evan Faiq Jabro the conditions of the Iraqis in Syria and ways to provide them with the necessary facilitations.

Major General Rahmoun confirmed that the Ministry of Interior is keen to take care of the Iraqis in Syria and settle their situation, pointing out that Syria provides all facilities for the voluntary return of refugees in both countries.

The Minister  added that the Syrian government granted entry visas to Iraqi businessmen to Syria, as well as allowed religious visits to Iraqis, according to a specific mechanism that takes into account the numbers of arrivals and  the necessary health measures in light of the spread of the Corona pandemic.

The American occupation strengthens its illegal base in the Koniko field in Deir Ezzour countryside

Deir Ezzour (ST): The American occupation forces continue to reinforce their illegal bases that they are establishing within the oil and gas fields in the areas of the Syrian Jazeera. Last night, these forces brought military equipment, weapons and logistic reinforcements to the Koniko field in Deir Ezzour countryside.

Local sources told news reporter that a  convoy of vehicles loaded with logistic equipment, materials and weapons belonging to the American occupation forces entered the illegal base established by the occupation in the Koniko field in the northeastern countryside of Deir Ezzour.

An explosive device exploded in a vehicle belonging to the SDF militia in the countryside of Hasakeh

Hasakeh (ST): An explosive device planted by unknown persons in a military vehicle belonging to the US-backed SDF militia went off on Al-Kharafi Road in Hasakeh countryside.

Local sources said  that an explosive device planted by unknown persons earlier exploded during the passage of a vehicle belonging to the (SDF) militia, which led to material damage to it, without any information about casualties among the ranks of the militiamen inside.

A Toyota car carrying a number of SDF militants was targeted the day before yesterday by unknown persons on the road between the city of Al-Shaddadi and the village of Dashishiya in the southern countryside of Hasakeh, killing two of them and wounding three others.

Farewell ceremony for Iran's Ambassador on the end of his mission in Syria

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Thursday bid farewell to Jawad Turkabadi, who ended his mission as  an ambassador of Iran to Syria. 
 
The ministry held a farewell ceremony during which Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Bashar al-Jaafari awarded the Syrian Order of Merit of the Excellent degree for the ambassador as gratitude to Iran, and in appreciation for his good efforts to enhance relations between the two brotherly countries.

Sarah: National media's role in unveiling the war on Syrian pound is of no lesser importance than uncovering crimes of terrorism

DAMASCUS, (ST)_Minister of Information Imad Sarah has affirmed that the role of the national media in unveiling the war on the Syrian Pound is of no lesser importance than its role in uncovering the crimes of terrorism and the terrorist war.
 
He added that the war on the Syrian economy and pound is of the same danger of the terrorist war on the country.

Al-Miqdad discusses with Iraqi Minister of Migration situation of displaced people

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal Al-Miqdad, discussed on Thursday with Iraqi Minister of Migration and Displaced , Ivan Faiq Jabro, ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation between Syria and Iraq and the situation of the displaced people in both countries.
 
Al-Miqdad  asserted the importance of strengthening relations and deepening cooperation between the two brotherly countries in all fields.

Syria, Iraq hold talks on facilitating the return of Syrian and Iraqi refugees to their homelands

Minister of Local Administration and Environment Hussein Makhlouf and the Iraqi Minister of Migration and Displaced Ivan Faiek Jabru discussed during a meeting on Thursday ways of consolidating bilateral relations and facilitating the voluntary and safe return of the Iraqi refugees in Syria and the Syrian refugees in Iraq to their home countries.

“Syria is keen on securing all the requirements of the Iraqi citizens living in Syria and on maintaining their safety and security and it is ready to facilitate their voluntary return to Iraq,” Makhlouf said, pointing out that the Syrian government has taken all necessary measures to help the Syrian refugees in Iraq return to Syria without obstacles.

On her part, Jabru affirmed the need to deepen cooperation between the two ministries and to open new prospects for joint action to facilitate the voluntary return of refugees from both sides to their home countries.
