Lavrentiev: The participants in the Astana talks discuss the illegal US presence in Syria

On December 10, the Russian President’s Special Envoy to Syria Alexander Lavrentiev said that the participants in the 14th round of the Astana Peace Talks discussed all issues related to Syria, including the illegal US presence on its soil.

“I think we are ready to discuss the situation in all parts of Syria and of course the issue of the illegal US presence that aims to exploit Syria's natural resources,” Lavrentiev told reporters in the Kazakh capital, Nur Sultan.

Lavrentiev stressed the need for the Turkish regime to shoulder its responsibilities for the de-escalation zone in Idlib governorate.

On December 9, the terrorist organization Al-Nusra Front attacked Al-Aziziya village and Al-Suqaylabiya town, north Hama, where a civilian was killed and a child was injured.
