Israel uproots 200 olive trees in West Bank

Israeli occupation bulldozers on Wednesday uprooted hundreds of olive trees in the west Bank. 
 
According to WAFA, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the northern side of Yasiv village and uprooted 200 olive oil trees with the aim of seizing the Palestinian lands.  
 
In another development, Israeli settlers set up mobile homes on land in the northern West Bank village of al-Sawiyeh in an effort to expand their illegal outposts in that area, according to a local official.
 
Moreover,  Israel today disconnected electricity supplied to 19 Palestinian villages and towns, located to the southwest of the northern West Bank district of Jenin, said a municipal source.
 
Mayor of Yabad Amjad Atatra confirmed that Israeli occupation authorities disconnected power supplied to the franchise areas of Yabad Electricity Authority (YEA), impacting a population of 55,000 in 19 towns and villages purportedly over unpaid debts.
 
In Jerusalem, bulldozers of the Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem demolished this morning a Palestinian home and a shop in occupied East Jerusalem under the pretext of construction without a permit, according to local sources.
