Bogdanov: Terrorist threat in Idlib hasn’t been eliminated yet

The Russian President’s Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov has affirmed that the terrorist threat is still there in the de-escalation zone in the Syrian province of Idlib, indicating that the situation is very worrying.

Interviewed by Interfax News Agency on Monday, Bogdanov said that the Turkish regime should abide by what has been agreed upon in terms of eliminating terrorism in Idlib, noting that it is still too early to talk about the complete elimination of terrorist threat there.

Last Thursday, Spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said that the Turkish regime is delaying the implementation of its obligations under the cessation of hostilities agreement in Idlib.
