President al-Assad and President Putin discuss developments in Syria during phone call

Damascus,(ST)– President Bashar al-Assad and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed during a phone call on Friday the developments in Syria.

President Putin congratulated President al-Assad over the achievements made during the recent battles in Idleb, briefing His Excellency on the results of the meetings he held along with Russian officials with Turkish officials on Thursday.

President Bashar al-Assad’s Interview with Russia 24

DAMASCUS- President Bashar al-Assad affirmed that Head of the Turkish regime, Erdogan, fights beside terrorists out of his brotherhood ideology, so even Erdogan himself is unable to tell the Turks why he is sending his army to fight in Syria.  The single reason is the Muslim Brotherhood and it has nothing to do with Turkish national interests.

The President added in an interview given to Russia 24 TV that in a militarily view, the priority now is Idlib, this is why we see Erdogan using all his force and no doubt under American directives.  This is because by liberating Idlib we will be able to move towards liberating the eastern regions.

President al-Assad to Libyan delegation: War against terrorism will determine the region's fate

DAMASCUS, (ST)_President Bashar al-Assad received today a Libyan delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister Abdul Rahman al-Aherish and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Abdul Hadi al-Hwij.

The talks dealt with the recent developments in Syria and Libya besides the war being waged by the two countries against terrorism and all forms of foreign intervention.

President Al-Assad: "Our army will never hesitate to carry out its national duties"

DAMASCUS–President Bashar al-Assad said on Monday that Aleppo gained the victory and Syria as well, adding that the Syrian army will never hesitate to carry out its national duties.

President al-Assad added in a televised speech on the occasion of the latest liberation wars that the Battle of liberating Aleppo and Idleb countryside is continuous regardless of some sound empty bubbles coming from the north.

President al-Assad receives Iranian delegation

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ President Bashar al-Assad received today a delegation representing the Iranian Shura Council headed by the Speaker of the council Ali Larijani.

The president asserted during the meeting that the Syrian people's enemies are still trying to protect terrorist groups that hold civilians as hostages and human shields.

"We will never allow such acts to continue at the expense of citizens' life, safety and stability. The Syrian people are determined to liberate all areas in the country," President al-Assad asserted.
