Italian Pepperoni Stromboli




2 cups flour

1 ts sugar

1 ts salt

2 1/4 ta instant yeast

3/4 cup warm water

3 tbs olive oil

Other ingredients:

150g pepperoni

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese


1 egg




  1. Mix the flour, salt, sugar, & yeast.
  2. Add the water and olive oil and knead for 10 mins.
  3. Transfer to a bowl and grease with olive oil from all side and let t double in size in a warm place.
  4. Transfer to a clean surface and stretch the dough until you get about 1 inch thickness.
  5. Add the cheese on the dough while leaving some boarders.
  6. Arrange the pepperoni on top of the cheese them sprinkle another layer of cheese.
  7. Roll the dough into a log and seal the sides.
  8. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle some sesame.
  9. Make some scores using a knife on the surface.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 180c for 25mins.
