Salmon with Teriyaki sauce



1. 8 medium sized salmon fillets

2. 1 cup of soya sauce

3. 1/4 cup of vegetable oil

4. 2 tablespoons of grated ginger

5. Fresh black pepper

6. 2 green onions chopped

7. 1/4 cup of brown sugar

8. Squeeze of lemon juice

9. 1 tablespoon of sesame oil

10. 1 tablespoon of corn starch

11. 1/4 cup of water



1. Brush salmon with vegetable oil and season with salt and pepper then grill in oven for 20 minutes.

2. Place soya sauce, corn flour, lemon juice, brown sugar, vegetable oil, water black pepper, garlic and ginger in a pot and bring to a simmer stirring constantly until sauce thickens.

3. Add green onions and sesame oil and remove from heat.

4. Serve salmon with sauce and basmati rice and steamed vegetables.

Note: u can mix all sauce ingredients without boiling and add to salmon in the oven after the first 10 minutes.
